Robert G. Jeffers, MD
Dr. Robert G. Jeffers moved to Raleigh from his hometown, Ozark, Ark. in 1982. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University, summa cum laude, with a BS in biology and received a Doctorate of Medicine from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans. Subsequent training included a rotating internship at Charity Hospital of New Orleans and a pediatric residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center of El Paso, Texas. He also served as an Army Medical Corp Officer in Stuttgart, Germany as well as receiving a Masters of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Jeffers is honored with his recognition in the "Guide to America's Top Pediatricians".
Dr. Jeffers is married to Theresa Walker, a children's social worker who works in the office. They have three sons: Walker, Will and Joseph. He is a member of the White Memorial Presbyterian Church choir has participated in mission trips to Africa and Haiti. He enjoys fishing, hunting, boating, reading, music, and also has a fondness for Louisiana cooking.
